RedCrow Monthly Report March 2019
The report focuses on the major incidents that were reported during the month of March in Jordan. On March 29th, the lower house of the Jordanian parliament voted against the Israel-Jordan gas deal that was signed back in September of 2016, which is expected to provide Jordan with a total of approximately 45 billion cubic meters of gas.
On March 27th, the son of the ambassador of Libya to Jordan was found dead in Abdoun in Amman, and according to Preliminary investigations, the cause of death stemmed from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. During the month of March, the Greater Amman municipality also approved cancelling all fees for vocational, handicraft and industrial licenses for 2019 and 2020 for downtown merchants who were affected by floods, reported during the month of February.
